“There’s Rosemary, that’s for remembrance: pray, love, remember.” Ophelia, Hamlet, Act. IV, Sc. 5.
Salvia rosmarinus, or rosemary, is a shrub with fragrant, evergreen, needle-like leaves. It is an attractive, drought-tolerant ornamental plant that is easy to grow and pest-resistant! However, it can grow quite large. It can be pruned into formal shapes and low hedges. The leaves are not only fragrant but can also be used in cooking to flavor various foods.
