Marjoram (Oregano)

“Indeed, sir, she was the sweet Marjoram of the Salad, or rather the Herb-of-grace.” Clown, All’s Well that Ends Well, Act IV, Sc. 4.

Origanum majorana, or marjoram, grown as a culinary herb, is often mistaken for oregano. It is a cold-sensitive perennial herb, usually reaching 1-2 ft. in height.
