Our mission is to encourage community environmental activities and behaviors, resulting in a more beautiful Bartow.

Our priorities focus mainly on: Litter Abatement, Recycling, Beautification, Cultural Programs, and Greenspace.

Keep Bartow Beautiful is a local affiliate of both Keep America Beautiful and Keep Georgia Beautiful. The program was certified in November, 2000, and operates under an umbrella of support from the Bartow County Government and the city Governments of Adairsville, Cartersville, Emerson, Kingston, Taylorsville, and White. A diverse Board of 20 community representatives from business, industry, media, education, government, and civic groups. These representatives provide leadership in support of local, state and national goals and objectives in the areas of water resource protection, litter, solid waste disposal, recycling, waste reduction, and beautification.

Katie Martin-Executive Director

Katie majored in Agriculture Education and graduated from University of Georgia in May 2020. Katie grew up on a farm in Bartow County. Katie enjoys fishing, hunting, and spending time with family. Katie manages the Adopt-A-Road Program and School Recycling Contest, she enjoys working with Keep Bartow Beautiful volunteers, and she educates many students on how to recycle every year. She started with Keep Bartow Beautiful full time as executive director in January of 2023.

Gracie Jordan- Environmental Educator

Gracie majored in Environmental Studies and graduated from Berry College in May 2021. She has a background in agriculture and horticulture. Her hobbies include hammocking, painting, and spending time with her puppy. Gracie enjoys working with the Master Gardener Volunteers and getting her hands in the dirt on garden workdays! She started with Keep Bartow Beautiful full time as the program assistant in April of 2023.
