Here is one of the newer AGS varieties of wheat that it’s getting really close to harvest. Where in the dough stage right now and we need just a little bit more dry time before we get it out of the field. Of course we don’t need these cloudy days as well as rain at this time. However, this wheat is definitely not finished, and some wheat I hear about in other counties that is already done runs the risk of sprouting. Not a good time for rain in wheat.

In this field had a good fertility program, and has been hit with a fungicide and heading to protect from rust. We did our weed control up front and cleaned up any radish out there.
