This morning I went by the river, and it is way up high. It’s more than half the width it normally would be where I am standing here. In this spot, I would normally walk out half way into that picture. We had about 5 inches of rain at my house over the past two weeks. I checked the National Weather Service Advanced Hydrology Prediction and saw that the river at the Abbeville location got up to 11.2 ft, just under flood stage of 12 ft. That was on Friday. Today it’s down to 9.8 ft at 11:45am and projected to trend down as you can see below.
