Here is a heads-up on potentially colder weather that could be moving into northern GA by October 9. Models are showing a broad area of low pressure accompanied by colder winds and the possibility of some frost in northern counties moving into the state early in the 2nd week of October. One model is showing the potential for frost on the morning of Tuesday, October 10. While this is pretty far in the future and there is a lot of uncertainty about how cold the air will actually get and when it will get here, it’s a reminder that we are now in fall and frost is coming. I will update you on Saturday about the latest forecasts for temperature and rainfall.
