The latest Drought Monitor, released today, shows that the area of abnormally dry conditions in eastern Georgia has expanded all the way into South Carolina, leading to a small regional increase. Dry conditions in Alabama and Puerto Rico remain unchanged. Other parts of the region have no dry conditions this week.
