The latest 7-day QPF map shows that very little rain is expected to fall across the region for the next week. The next three days will be dry now that the big storm from last week has passed out of the region. There is a small chance of precipitation over the weekend with a coastal storm developing and moving off the coast and then dry conditions return for the end of the 7-day period. Some models show that the coastal storm could bring light snow to parts of the Southeast as the storm deepens off the Carolinas during the weekend but it will quickly move off to the northeast, taking the precipitation with it. The heaviest rain or snow will occur off the East Coast.
