While Tropical Storm Elsa was not a strong storm as it came through the Southeast, it did have some strong winds and torrential rainfall. The latest monthly climate summary for the globe was released today by NOAA. It showed that this June 2021 was the fifth warmest since records began in 1880. The year to date is the 8th warmest on record.
