The Pecan Production Meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 12:00 noon. It will be held at Harry’s Barbeque in Claxton. A sponsored lunch will be provided, so please call us if you plan to attend so that we can prepare enough food. We have 3 speakers for this meeting: Lenny Wells will give us an update on varieties and agronomics, Will Hudson will give us an update on insect control, and Jason Brock will give us an update on disease control.
The Corn and Soybean Production Meeting will be held on Friday, February 17th at 12:00 noon. It will be held at the Tattnall County Farm Bureau Office located in Reidsville. A meal will be provided for this meeting as well, so please be sure to call in your head count. We have 2 speakers coming in for this meeting: Dr Dewey Lee will give us a variety update, and Dr. Glen Harris will give us a fertility update.
