Pecan harvest is in full swing across Appling County and Georgia. I stopped by one of our local shellers the other day to see how the season was going. I was happy to find out they’re now making pecan brittle. It’s delicious if you’re wondering! They also have a full line of other pecan candy and can make gift baskets as well. Be sure to pick some up for the holiday!

I had a chance to go flying with Lamar Turner to take some pictures of my cotton plot. I do this every year so farmers can visually see the yield differences in where the nematicide Telone was applied and where it wasn’t. Once harvested, I’ll have the yield data also. It was a beautiful day to fly, so I took a few more pictures.
