Madison County 4-H attended Cloverleaf District Project Achievement on February 15, 2025, at Rock Eagle 4-H Center. Project Achievement is one of the largest and most exciting, challenging and rewarding programs offered by Georgia 4-H. 4-H’ers choose a project area of interest, research a topic, then write and present an oral presentation to others. For Cloverleaf 4-H’ers, students in grades 4-6, this process is about hands on learning, self confidence, and sharing knowledge.

We had 6 Cloverleaf 4-H’ers travel & compete at District Project Achievement. From Colt Academy, we had Xander Newbury placing 3rd in General Recreation. Comer Elementary had 3 participants which were Jaylee Collinsworth placing 1st in Outdoor Recreation, Pelaiah Lewis placing 2nd in Herpetology and Drake Ray, receiving honorable mention for Horse. Kennedy Julia Rouse, from Hull-Sanford Elementary placed 2nd in Historic Places & Events. Rounding out our schools, we had Kennedy Allmon from Ila Elementary place 2nd in Engineering and Mechanics.

Madison County 4-H is extremely proud of these 4-H’ers and cannot wait to see what their future holds within this organization. For more information about our 4-H program, please do not hesitate to contact our office at (706) 795-2281.
