On April 24, 2026 Keep Bartow Beautiful hosted their third annual Volunteer Appreciation Picnic. We had volunteers from various groups attend such as, Bartow County Master Gardener’s, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Town of Taylorsville, City of Emerson, Adairsville High School JROTC, Red Top Middle School, Allatoona Elementary School, Lake Allatoona Association, & Adopt-a-Road participants. The picnic started at 5:30 pm and concluded at 7:30 pm. At the picnic, food was provided from Nagels Bagels and various awards were presented.
Keep Bartow Beautiful gave out awards to volunteers which included Green Thumb Award, Recycling Partners, Great American Cleanup certificates, Friend of KBB, & Adopt-a-Road certificates. There were a total of 55 total volunteers that attended the picnic. Volunteers received t-shirts, gloves, hats, water bottle holder, lip balm/sunscreen, pens, & notepads.
