Starting in September KBB had 3 garden workdays. On September 9, 2025 there was a workday at Hayes Park Rain Garden. There were 4 Bartow County Master Gardeners (Christina Anderson, Missy Phillips, Susan Gilmore, & Alicia McMahan) & 2 KBB staff (Katie Martin & Gracie Jordan). The workday started at 9:00am & concluded at 11:00am for a total of 12 hours. The volunteers weeded the garden & put more soil in the raised pollinator & vegetable beds.
On October 15, 2025, there was a workday at Neels Landing Garden. There was a total of 5 volunteers from Georgia Power (Tari Whiteman, Maria Quinez, Krista Pierce, Keith Totty, and Shelby Beringer), 1 UGA staff (Paul Pugliese) and 1 KBB staff (Gracie Jordan). The workday started at 9:00am & concluded at 10:00am for a total of 7 hours. The volunteers planted Purple Coneflower, Georgia Aster, Pink Muhly Grass, & Wild Parsley.
On November 12, 2025 there was a workday at Shakespeare garden. There was a total 8 Bartow County Master Gardeners & 1 KBB staff (Gracie Jordan). The workday started at 3:00 pm & concluded at 4:00 pm for a total of 9 hours. The volunteers weeded, mulched, & planted pansies.
