  • November 2019 was colder than normal with variable rainfall

    The initial climate summary maps for November 2019 are now available from the High Plains Regional Climate Center and show that all of the Southeast except the Florida Peninsula was colder than normal.   • Only light rain expected this week

    After today’s front passes through the Southeast, only light rain is expected for most of the region over the next week. The heaviest rain amounts are expected mid- to late week in the Mississippi Valley area and stretching east into Alabama. Even those will only be about an inch, though.
