Brooks County Extension will be presenting our annual Pecan Production meeting on Tuesday, April 11, 2017. The meeting will be held in orchard and begin at 10:00 am. We will meet initially at Lawson’s Peach Shed, Morven, GA and travel, by tram, from there to visit nearby pecan orchards. I have made arrangements for us to visit 4 to 5 locations to view different tree varieties and stages of maturity/production. The meeting will conclude at approximately 12:00, with lunch served at “The Peach Shed” restaurant located at Lawson’s Peach Shed. Please RSVP to the Brooks County Extension office at 263-4103.
