There are currently 7 systems brewing right now. Sally is upon us but it is looking like the others may move away. Vicky and Disturbance 2 show movement in our direction while Disturbance 1 is still developing. Mississippi is preparing for a historic flood because Sally is moving slow. Sally is the only immediate threat and there is no concern for any systems to develop in the Caribbean for this week, at least. The cold front moving in next can trigger some tropical developments in the waters south and southwest of Florida. One more month of peak hurricane season.
