Would you have fun learning about insect ID, tree ID and tree diseases? Would you like to learn to read a compass and measure tree volume. Do you want to make new friends and learn more about 4-H? The Tattnall County 4-H Forestry Team is a great opportunity to do just that! The team is open to all Tattnall County 5th through 12th graders. Practices will be held in Reidsville at the Tattnall County Extension Office from 3 p.m. (or as soon as you can get there after school!) until 5 p.m.

Practice dates include:

August 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd, 27th, &  29th

September 3rd & 5th

Youth who attend at least 5 practice sessions will be invited to participate in the District Competition at the Gordonia-Alatamaha State Park in Reidsville, GA on September 10th. For more information or to sign up for the team, please call the Tattnall County Extension Office at (912) 557-6724.
