We’ve offered a great line-up of Advanced Training this year, as you’ve seen from various posts here on Trellis. Our original schedule included three different training dates for our AT related to the GROW curriculum and how to offer it in your county. (Be sure to read the full story of the GROW curriculum here!). It seems the dates didn’t work well for attendees, so we combined the trainings into one session on June 20, 2025 (hurry! registration closes Monday, June 2!).
In addition to the great atmosphere, snacks, tasty lunch, and general enjoyment of learning alongside other MGEVs at the UGA Research and Education Garden, you can expect the following from the GROW training:
- introduction to all 6 modules
- exploration of all 28 demonstrations, including several hands-on/take-home activities
- instruction in planning to host a GROW module (bring your calendar of events so you can decide when best to host)
- guidance for using and practice with curriculum (you’ll get to take home a copy of either Summer, Fall, or Winter)
