Madison County 4-H had a great weekend at Northeast Junior/Senior District Project Achievement. It was a special treat this year as 6th graders across the district were able to attend the weekend. Madison County had 11 students, grades 6-12, represent us over the weekend. We are so proud of our 4-H’ers and cannot wait to see what the rest of the 4-H year holds for them.
Bailey Bennett competed in the Communications category and placed 1st. C.A Duncan chose a cooking project, Dairy Foods, placing 1st as well. These 2 individuals will be representing Madison County at State Congress in July of this year. Having the opportunity to attend State Congress is a huge honor so we are very proud of these 2 senior 4-H’ers.
Other 4-H’ers that competed this weekend are…
- Charley Luke (Sports-Teams) 1st
- Zayne Newbury (Historic People): 2nd
- Kris Ridling (Computer Information Technology): 1st
- Henry Bartenfeld (Target Sports): 2nd
- Carsen Stewart (Companion & Specialty Animals): 2nd
- Oakley King (Computer Information Technology): 1st
- Dakota Flynn (Target Sports): 1st
- Robert Willis (Robotics): 2nd
- Lily Earle (Health) 3rd

C.A Duncan was also elected by his peers to serve on the 2025-2026 NE District Senior Board of Directors. We are so proud for him to represent Madison County at the district level.
