Long County Farm Bureau President Manuel Sneed recently presented Long County 4-H with a check, sponsoring 2 youth to go to camp this summer. The Farm Bureau celebrates agriculture in America and the fact that there is a plentiful and safe food supply provided by America’s farmers. However, Farm Bureau goes far beyond agriculture. With programs like Ag in the Classroom, Farm Bureau extends their knowledge and leadership to young leaders. For Long County 4-H, Farm Bureau’s support came through the form of a check. However, when the kids come back from a week at camp this summer, I hope Long County Farm Bureau knows that they did so much more than just give us a donation. The smiles will truly say it all. We are so thankful for this partnership. Because of this continued community support, Long County 4-H will be able to further their mission of positive youth development. Thank you again Long County Farm Bureau!
