School Programs

  • Recycling Lessons & Contest: Students will learn what they can recycle. Contest is August-May & all grade levels at the schools will recycle as much as they can (most pounds by student wins).*Contact us for recycling bins.*
  • Vermicomposting: Students will learn about worm behavior, anatomy, & how they create compost.
  • Enviroscape: An interactive plastic model that shows how non-point, point source pollution, or erosion affects a town.
  • Landfill & Recycling Center Tours: Students learn about what happens to their garbage & recycle material once it leaves their home or school.
  • Spring Bank/Pettit Preserve Outdoor Classroom: Students will learn how to identify trees & natural resources. Water testing lessons can also be done at these locations.
