Yucca filamentosa, or Adam’s Needle Yucca, is an ornamental evergreen shrub featuring spine-tipped green leaves with yellow stripes. During midsummer, they produce a flowering stalk reaching 2-3 ft. tall. Once the flowering stems die off, they need to be removed. This is a full sun plant that is not only drought tolerant, but also deer and rabbit resistant.
