Hypericum calycinum, commonly St. Johnswort, is a perennial shrub grown from seed or plant cuttings. It thrives best in full sun to partial shade. The blooms last from midsummer to fall, followed by colorful berries. They grow 1-3 ft. tall and spread 1-2 ft. wide. It makes for an attractive ground cover and soil stabilizer. Once established, the plants need little to no maintenance.
