On September 13, 2025, a group of six volunteers of the Libertarian Party of Bartow, Polk, and Floyd Counties conducted a river cleanup from Euharlee Creek to Hardin Bridge (4 miles). There was a total of 6 volunteers, for a total of 4 hours*6 volunteers=24 volunteer hours. KBB was unable to attend the day of. The kayaks and supplies were provided by Euharlee Creek Outfitters.

The volunteers began at Euharlee Creek and ended at Hardin Bridge boat launch. The volunteers paddled in kayaks and retrieved trash from the sides of the riverbanks and shallow water areas. The 6 volunteers removed 12 bags of trash, multiple inflatable rafts, and multiple chairs out of the Etowah River (equal to 240 pounds). The volunteers made three stops along the way to unload trash. Bartow County Parks and Rec picked up the trash from the boat ramp.
