The Pollinator Steward Program is designed for those interested in protecting and providing for our insect pollinators. The course will be 28 hours of educational sessions spanning 4 days. During this course, you will learn about Native Bees, Butterflies, Honeybees, other pollinators, and how to build a pollinator friendly habitat. We will have a field trip to the Marine Extension EcoScapes Rain Garden and hear from guest speakers with expertise in each category.

After completion of the course, we ask that participants lead a count for the annual Pollinator Census on August 18 or 19. Cost is $80. This includes all materials needed for the class and take-home items.

This course will take place at the Glynn County Extension Office. We will have portions of each class outside in the Madge Merritt 4-H Teaching Garden. We ask that you prepare for the weather of the day and bring your own water bottle, sunscreen, and bug spray. Lunches will not be provided, but we will break for one hour each day for lunch.
