  • NOAA: Warmest July on record for Florida, 3rd warmest for Southeast overall

    The latest NOAA report for the US for July 2016 is out and shows that Florida reported its warmest July ever this year, with Georgia and South Carolina as well as the entire Southeast at 3rd warmest and North Carolina as the 4th warmest.  The Southeast was 11th driest on record (1895-present).  You can see…

    Here is a useful interactive web site you might find useful in looking at the rain in the Southeast this week. It allows you to zoom and to look at future rain forecasts as well as current radar conditions, satellite imagery, and flood watches and warnings.  You can find it by clicking here.
