I woke up this morning to the sound of Nestor’s rain on my roof. It should be falling most of the day, including at tonight’s football game, along with gusty winds. Not good weather for kickers and passers!  We will see a lot of rain over the next week from Nestor and two other weather systems that will pass through the region this week. After Nestor exits, we should have a fairly dry day on Sunday for the western part of the region while it continues through the Carolinas. The next rainy system will be a front that moves through the area on Monday. Tuesday through Thursday look fairly dry, then a Gulf low forms and brings more rain to the region at the end of the week. Most areas except the southern tip of Florida should see at least an inch of rain, and many areas could see 4 to 5 inches. Should put a dent in the drought conditions for sure!
