Scattered rain early in the week but increasing chances later

This week starts with below normal rainfall in most of the Southeast.  Rainfall should be less than 0.75 inches over the next five days across most of the Southeast except near the coast.  Showers will be scattered but could be heavy if you happen to get caught in one.  Rain chances increase later in the week, so if you have work that needs to be done in drier weather, do it early in the week rather than later.
