Southern corn rust was confirmed in Seminole County and Tift County yesterday. It was also identified in Levy County, Florida. Growers in our area should definitely be on alert. If the weather pattern continues to be wet and humid we are definitely at risk. Be prepared to protect your corn as we move forward and I will keep you updated with anymore finds.
