The land is dry. Across our region, large wildfires are burning — and closer to home, farmers and families are feeling the weight of a prolonged drought. The need for rain is not just practical, it is urgent.
In times like these, the church and the community are called to do what we do best: gather, pray, and trust God together.
Pittman Park United Methodist Church is hosting a Community Prayer Service for Rain and Those Affected by Fires on Sunday, April 26 at 7:00 PM. This is an open invitation to the entire Statesboro and Bulloch County community. Farmers, families, and neighbors of every background are welcome to come and bring their burdens to God.
You don’t have to be a church member. You don’t have to know what to say. Just come as you are.
We will pray for rain. We will pray for those suffering the effects of drought. We will pray for the communities across our region where fires are burning. And we will do it together.
Pittman Park United Methodist Church is located at 1102 Fair Road, Statesboro, GA 30458. The service begins at 7:00 PM and all are welcome.
