Georgia Department of Natural Resources (DNR) updates their deer management plan every 5-6 years, and the time for them to update the deer management plan has arrived. As a part of this, they have developed an online survey to gather input (link below). It is rather long, but there are important parts to this survey where farmers, hunters, and other interested parties can provide useful input to DNR on this issue. Interestingly, questions 21-25 directly address deer damage to agricultural crops. Take time to give needed input on this survey regarding deer management as it relates to your situation.
