I am going to try and start adding a fun Water Fact every Friday. This week, lets just think about volume of water.

So the Fun Fact is — 1 acre-inch of water, the volume of water that would be 1 inch thick over an acre is:

27,154 gallons or 102,789 Liters.

So what does that look like? A good close way to visualize this is to think of a football field with 1 inch of water across the whole field.

Have a good weekend.
