Best Practices: Low Maintenance Gardens

Follow along with this presentation about how to install and maintain gardens that will leave you headache free.

The ideal plant is one that looks pretty without all the constant inputs and worry of it dying. Plant choice is where many people go wrong when establishing a garden. Choose plants and designs that work with your area and aesthetics.
By drawing out your area, you can visualize the amount of plants you will need to sufficiently fill the space. This will allow you to develop a list of materials as well as the total cost of the project.
Consider the full size of the plants as well. You don’t want to put a tall growing butterfly bush to block your smaller wild flowers from the view you are trying to establish.
