New Water Quality AT Posted

It’s been a while since we have had an Advanced Training that addressed  water quality and management topics, so we’re pretty excited that Fulton County is hosting one in September! During this training, MGEVs will learn about potential nutrient resources, household water testing and remediation, septic systems and their effect on water quality, and the effects of poor water quality on irrigation systems.  Those who receive this training will be expected to assist their respective county Extension offices by providing educational instruction and outreach concerning water quality within their county. Category: [DT/WQM]

The training is scheduled for September 18, 2019, from 10am to 3pm at the Johns Creek Environmental Campus in Alpharetta.  Since the classroom time on this one has been shortened to accommodate Atlanta drive time, we’ll have some at-home activities as part of the training. For full AT credit, attendees will complete an independent assignment based on the training materials.

To access the registration information, visit our Advanced Training schedule on our webpage. Registration deadline is September 11, 2019.
