In a previous post, we shared about the upcoming annual GMGA conference and Extension award. Be sure to check that post out for important details!
Not only is this annual event an opportunity to connect with MGEVs from around the state, it’s also a weekend full of continuing education opportunities! Conference sessions cover a variety of topics from plant phenology, citrus plants, invasive species, and working with youth. There is also a great lineup of guided tours. Learn more about the sessions and tours and then register to attend the conference here.
After a great weekend of learning and networking, be sure to add “log CE hours in MGLOG” to your to-do list when you return home! Conference sessions and guided tours are continuing education hours and really contribute to the annual CE requirement to maintain active status!
MGEVs are required to complete at least 10 hours of continuing education each year and report it within MGLOG. It is the responsibility of the individual to accurately and punctually report training hours within MGLOG. Instructions for recording continuing education are included on the MGLOG Resources page.
