Georgia applicators who plan to purchase or apply Engenia, Stryax, or Tavium in 2026 must complete the Using Pesticides Wisely (UPW) 2026 Georgia State-Specific Dicamba Training prior to application.
As outlined in the official 2026 UPW training announcement flyer (posted at the bottom of the post), all applicators must hold a valid private or commercial pesticide license and complete the required in-person classroom training before applying these products in 2026. Online training will not be available.
Two hours of pesticide credits will be provided for private or commercial applicators. Participants should bring their pesticide license. Meetings will last approximately 1.5 hours, and no meals or beverages will be provided.
Training topics include pesticide applicator safety, new dicamba label changes, required recordkeeping and documentation, Endangered Species Act (ESA) requirements, and other important regulatory updates for 2026.

There will not be any additional trainings offered beyond the dates on this list. If you plan to use Engenia, Stryax, or Tavium in 2026, you must attend one of these sessions to obtain credit for this year. This is a mandatory training for anyone purchasing or applying these products.
Applicators must have their own individual pesticide license. These products cannot be applied under the supervision of another licensed individual.
