Its Expo Week! The Sunbelt Ag Expo is an agricultural-based trade show held at Spence Field in Moultrie, Ga. Known as “North America’s Premier Farm Show”® the annual event has more than 1200 exhibitors showcasing the latest in farming technology. Whether you are a large acreage production farmer or a weekend lifestyle farmer the Expo is an event you don’t want to miss.

According to Dr. Hand the defoliation recipe is 3-4 oz thidiazuron, 10 oz Folex, 32-42 oz Prep. It looks like a great week for cotton defoliation and going to the Sunbelt Ag Expo!

Peanut maturity: Another busy week at the maturity clinics this week. Table 1 show a summary of days to maturity for 5 peanut varieties for three planting date ranges in irrigated and dryland environments. If the cell is blank, then no samples were brought into the clinics for that planting range and irrigated/dryland environment.
