The weather is about to turn a lot colder with the passage of one cold front tonight and a second front moving through in a few days. Much colder air is going to cover most of the region except for the Florida Peninsula and areas close to the coast. The coldest mornings will be December 1-3, with freezing temperatures reaching down to the Georgia-Florida border on the 3rd. If you have gardens or crops that are still growing, you can try to protect them, but with temperatures down into the mid-20s in many places (and even colder as you go farther north and higher in elevation), you may not be able to protect anything. The NWS has stopped issuing freeze warnings since we are past the average date of first frost, so you will need to check your local forecast for the timing and coldest temperatures. I like to use their hourly forecast product. You can find information on how to get local forecasts for your area at https://site.extension.uga.edu/climate/2018/03/where-to-get-hourly-weather-forecast-information/.
The map below shows the graphical forecast for December 3, the day that the cold is predicted to get down to the GA-FL border, but the previous two nights will also bring freezing temperatures to many parts of the region, so be aware that this could be a multi-night event.
