As a climatologist, I am always trying to understand more about how climate impacts other aspects of the economy, and especially how it affects agriculture. So I found this article on how the weather affects the ability of corn to pollinate to be fascinating, because I learned more about how the process works. Sometimes even fairly small changes in the weather can have enormous effects on the corn yield this year if they fall at a critical period in the corn life cycle. I am sure that some of you know this and more, but for those who have more limited experience with how the crops form and grow, you will find it educational. You can read about it at Farm Progress here.
