The 7-day QPF map shows that most of the Southeast is expected to get no rain for the next week. The only exception is the far south of the Florida peninsula, including the Keys. This area is expected to be affected by a low which is organizing in the Bay of Campeche and is forecast to move eastward, dropping rain along its path. The dry conditions will be good for farmers looking to catch up on harvest and for drying hay where earlier rainfalls produced good growth. The forecast for the week after next shows warmer and drier conditions than usual continuing across the region.
