If you did not sign up for the Row Crop Weed Meeting at the Cotton Meeting last week, please email uge3031@uga.edu or call the Extension Office at (912) 871-6130 by noon today – Monday, February 10, so accurate preparations can be made for the meal.
There will be a Row Crop Weed Meeting at the Bulloch County Center for Agriculture on Wednesday, February 12, 2025. UGA Extension Weed Specialists, Dr. Stanley Culpepper and Dr. Eric Prostko, will be the guest speakers. This meeting will cover topics related to 2025 cotton and peanut weed control issues and options. Understanding and implementing EPA’s Endangered Species Act (ESA) strategy in Georgia will also be covered.
One (1) Commercial Pesticide License (Category 21) hour and one (1) Private Pesticide License hour have been approved from the Georgia Department of Agriculture. The following CCA credits have also been approved: Integrated Pest Management 1.0, Soil and Water Management 0.5 and Crop Management 0.5.
