This week continued harvest of cotton and peanuts across Worth County. The weather conditions have been better for harvest to occur this week, but as we look forward to next week, there will probably be effects from Tropical Depression Eta.

November is national pecan month. The pecan crop is looking good this year and yields are good. Prices, though, are down. Harvest is well underway for our pecan growers.
