Tattnall County 4-H members in 6th-8th grade are invited to register for Spring Junior Conference, April 18-19, 2020.

This year’s event registration cost is $80. This includes includes Saturday night lodging, Saturday dinner, Sunday breakfast, a t-shirt, activities, and a lot of fun. You will need to bring extra money to cover the cost of lunch on Sunday, as that meal is not included in the event registration cost.

The event will include 3-4 educational workshops to teach youth about marine science. These are typically very fun, hands-on workshops.

For the event, youth will need to pack sheets and a blanket (or sleeping bag), toiletries, a rain jacket, comfortable clothes, and any other personal items they need for the week.

Transportation to the event will be provided by Tattnall County Extension Staff. The event will be chaperoned by Extension staff and volunteers from Southeast District, but may not include a Tattnall County staff member or volunteer.

Youth who are in 8th grade may have an opportunity to serve as Teen Leaders at the event. If you are interested in this opportunity, you must let Mrs. Rebekah know when you turn in your registration. More details about the event will be shared at a later date when they are made available to our office. If you have additional questions, please contact the Tattnall County Extension Office at (912) 557-6724 (ext. 4).
