UGA Extension in Carroll, Haralson & Paulding Counties are hosting the Journeyman Farmer program that provides a comprehensive training for beginning farmers.

The program requires a three-step training:

Step 1 – Small Farm Business Planning, Friday, March 13, 2020 (9 AM– 5 PM)

Step 2 – Small Fruit & Vegetable Production, 4 -Week training, Tuesdays, 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. March 17, 24, & 31 and  April 7.

Step 3 – Hands-on Production (Internship or Mentoring by application)

All classes will take place at the Carroll County Ag Center, 900 Newnan Road, Carrollton, Georgia.
