Registration is open for the 2024 annual Georgia Master Gardener Association (GMGA) conference, October 4-5, on the UGA Griffin campus! A team of Henry County Master Gardener Extension Volunteers have done some incredible work to plan this year’s conference and you’ll want to be a part of conference events from start to finish, including pre-conference tours offering an exclusive look at UGA Extension research, an impressive speaker line up, and exciting breakout sessions! Check out all the conference details and register on the GMGA webpage. Make your plans now and don’t miss out on early bird registration discounts!
This annual conference designed specifically for Georgia MGEVs (spouses and friends are welcome, too!) is a wonderful opportunity for volunteers to connect, learn together, trade ideas, support small business vendors selling all the awesome plant goodies, and leave the conference with some ideas to try in home or project garden spaces. With so much to learn and do, remind yourself to add your time spent on tours and in conference sessions in MGLOG as continuing education. You’ll have no trouble meeting or exceeding the 10 hour continuing education requirement!
