Muscadine Mastery

Muscadines (Vitis rotundifolia) are a Southern treasure — and with the right care, they’ll reward you with abundant, flavorful harvests year after year. In this interactive workshop, you’ll join Dr. Sarah Lowder, Viticulture Specialist and Assistant Professor at the University of Georgia, for an up‑close look at seasonal pruning and vine training methods that will set your vines up for success. Participants will also learn how to keep their vines healthy through every season. Designed for backyard growers, this session will leave you confident, informed, and ready to grow your most productive muscadine crop yet.

Pet Reptiles & Amphibians

This is your chance to get up close and personal with some of nature’s most fascinating cold‑blooded creatures. In this lively, in person workshop, you’ll meet different species of reptiles and amphibians — from beginner level companions to the more challenging exotics — with insights on their unique needs, personalities, and habitats. You will also have the rare opportunity to touch and interact with a few under supervision. Let guest speaker, Keelin Klein, UGA student and herpetology enthusiast, and Frank Bird, Loganville High School science teacher and herpetology breeder, provide a deeper understanding of these neat animals, practical care tips, and maybe even introduce you to a new favorite scaly or slippery friend.

Designing With Blooms

Spend one hour learning about the art of floral design in our hands-on workshop, where you’ll learn the fundamentals of color harmony, balance, and focal points. Under the expert guidance of Julie Pope, adjunct professor of Advance Floral Design at Gwinnett Technical College, you’ll style your own seasonal arrangement and take home your handcrafted centerpiece. All materials are provided. If anyone is interested, they can call Laura who will register them and collect credit card payment over the phone.
