A website from UGA Cooperative Extension

Fulton County is the most populous county in Georgia with just over one million people (2022). Despite a thriving urban environment and constant development, agriculture is alive and well in our metro county.

In southern Fulton, you can see peach and pecan groves, large pastures, and lush forests. The northern part of the county is home to horse stables and much of our green industry. Central Fulton is host to the state capital of Atlanta, with rooftop beekeeping, urban farms, and cooperative movements between local producers and businesses.

Our agriculture agents and educator serve the entire county, offering diagnostic services and educational programs. Visit our “Services” tab to learn more about our testing services and how we can help you diagnose issues with plants, soil, and water!
