Fulton County is the most populous county in Georgia with just over one million people (2017). Despite the thriving urban environment and constant development, agriculture is alive and well in the metropolitan county. In the southern portions you can see peach and pecan groves, large pastures and lush forests. The northern part of the county is home to horse stables and much of our Green Industry. The most central part of the county is host to the state capital of Atlanta, with rooftop beekeeping, small urban farmers, and multiple cooperative movements between local producers and businesses.
Our two agriculture agents serve the entirety of the county, offering various diagnostic services and educational programs. Visit our “services” tab to learn more about what kinds of testing we offer and how we can help you diagnose any issues you may be having with plants, soil, water, and so much more!
