Ready to take your harvest to the next level? Join us for a 2-day, hands-on training designed for small scale growers and entrepreneurs interested in creating safe, high-quality value-added products.

Session 1: Tuesday, June 10 | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Learn the fundamentals of safe canning, including water bath and pressure canning techniques. We’ll also dive into the art of pickling – and you will get to roll up your sleeves during our Pickled Green Beans Workshop, where you’ll make and take home your own jar!
Session 2: Thursday, June 12 | 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.
Get expert insight from the Georgia Department of Agriculture on cottage food licenses and what it takes to legally sell your preserved goods. We’ll also explore freezing and drying methods to help you make the most of your surplus produce.
