Have you been told you need a PCQI, but you aren’t sure what that means? The acronym stands for “Preventive Controls Qualified Individual,” and food manufacturers covered by the Preventive Controls for Human Food Rule are required to employ or contract with at least one such individual. A PCQI is responsible for developing a processor’s food safety plan and ensuring all aspects of the plan are properly implemented.

The Preventive Controls Rule from the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) requires food processing facilities to have a food safety plan in place that includes hazard analysis and risk-based preventive controls. This course satisfies PCQI training requirements for food industry professionals responsible for developing and implementing food safety plans.

For more information and to register,

Registration for the course is $650.00. The registration period closes on February 25th at 4:00pm ET.
